Kimberly Ortiz is a writer, poet, entrepreneur, and music executive who currently resides in Nashville, TN. She grew up in a military household, which caused her to move frequently as a teen. However, Kim proudly acknowledges her time spent in Kansas, Maryland, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, California and Spain. In 2013, Kim graduated with a BS in Music Business and Marketing from Middle Tennessee State University. Shortly after graduating, she began to freelance as a PR / Marketing Coordinator and Concert Promoter for artists in Murfreesboro and Nashville, TN. This ultimately led to her creating her artist services & development incubator, Prospective Media Management in 2015, while also transitioning into artist management. 

 

In 2018, Kim began working in music publishing and expanded her brand to include digital content and graphic design services after earning a Master of Arts from Berklee College of Music in Global Entertainment & Music Business. Kim is dedicated to providing independent artists with the tools necessary to penetrate today's ever-evolving music industry while focusing on building up Nashville's budding community of BIPOC entertainment professionals.
